I love to create larger-than-life creature costumes, blending mythological and real-world elements. I draw on both symbolism and the natural world to create my own creature concepts.
My Asteroid light sculpture started as a way to create ambient light in my office. The blend of scrap materials started to resemble an alien landscape, and took on a life of its own.
I decided it was far too interesting to sit in a dusty corner.
Over 2024, I brought my Asteroid to four events / festivals and plan to expand this concept into a full gallery installation.
