Over my career I have studied both 2D (hand drawn) animation and video editing. I have a passion for world building and character design, and regularly make shorts to release on social media.
Wiji
Wiji is a character I designed while experiencing grief.
He is named after the Ouija Board, as the species is capable of communicating with the dead.
I developed a character lineup for the world that Wiji inhabits as a means of coping with an immense family loss.
Character Lineup
This character set is the starting point of a broader world I’ve been developing. Wiji is the prime mover of this universe, a God of sorts.
The characters seen here are his peers who collaborate to maintain harmony and balance in their universe.
My digital collage vignettes are atmospheric and surreal.
